Mine is ‘Very Black’. Well, I might be the adventurous type but not enough to walk around with gold coloured eyelashes, JUST YET!

Today I will show you a few steps on how to achieve beautiful eyelashes.

IMG_0541

First, as usual cleanse your face and apply your foundation and everything else.I love to do my eyes at the end.

A tip I learned from Kim Kardashian’s make-up artist was to always brush down the mascara brush on your eye lashes. It gives the lashes more volume in the end.

Next, sweep the brush in upward motions until you’re happy with the results.

And now, the end results!

It’s lovely for day time when you don’t want too much drama for your eyes. It gives you nice curl , lengthens your lashes , adds a little volume and makes you look totally awake. It does not look fake. I am reaching out for this mascara more often than not these days.It does not flake or smear, and it has never stung my eyes.

If you are someone who likes alot of a drama to eyelashes, this may not be for you. It looks quite natural. But if you want a dramatic look, give your lashes a few coats and you’ll be good to go!

I would personally give this product 8/10. If you would like to give this product a try, you can head to any drugstore or pharmacy. Its priced at RM31.90 and I would say its a good value for such an awesome product. Strongly recommended.

Have fun trying it out!

If you have tried this mascara or if you have your personal favourite brand, let me know in the comments below! Have an awesome day! Till next time!

I have to say , I have so many positive things to say about it! Taking a shower with this shower foam this morning really put me in a good mood. The smell relaxed me and I feel so refreshed…and the best part?? ITS PINK!!!

I was a little disappointed that this product did not come with a pump, because I believe that make-up,shampoos and shower gels with pumps reduce wastage of the product.

but…

As soon as I poured it onto my palm I felt like I was holding the softest wool, the lightest feather, the softest silk. It was a beautiful feeling.

I poured a very tiny amount onto my hands, as you can see.

Travelling in China : Yong He Gong/Lama Temple

Travelling in China : Yong He Gong/Lama Temple

Hey my awesome and beautiful readers. So, here goes, as many of you asked, I will be writing about popular places to visit in China! I have been there for about a year now and I love everything China has to offer, from the environment to SHOPPING!!

 beijing-chengde (1)

Today’s post is about the Yonghe Temple, also known as the “Yonghe Lamasery”, or popularly even as “Lama Temple”. It is a temple and monastery of the Geluk School of Tibetan Buddhism located in the Dongcheng District of Beijing. Its easily reached as it has its own subway stop known as  雍和宫站 (Yonghegong zhan) Line 2 and Line 5, along the second ring road.

(picture:it was autumn when we went so, there are no leaves on the trees and it was pretty cold)

This temple has beautiful architecture and many people come here to pray as it is said to be one of the most beautiful and powerful temples in Beijing. This temple also houses a very beautiful Buddha statue decked in yellow cloth. At the foot of the Buddha, a lot of offerings can be seen.

The art work is very fine and the colours are so vibrant and cheerful! The entrance fee is 25RMB per person(September 2013) , can be paid at the ticketing counters at the entrance. Upon paying, you will receive a DVD the size of your palm explaining to you about the temple and you will also receive a huge bunch of incense sticks.

IMG_0504

There will be a big fire at every ‘hall’ where you can light your incense sticks and proceed to pray. There are five main halls which are separated by courtyards: the Hall of the Heavenly Kings ( Tian Wang Dian or Devaraja Hall), the Hall of Harmony and Peace (Yonghegong), theHall of Everlasting Protection (Yongyoudian), the Hall of the Wheel of the Law (Falundian), and the Pavilion of Ten Thousand Happinesses (Wanfuge).

After praying and taking a fair share of pictures, “selfies” and “wefies”, we decided to go for food nearby.

IMG_0592      IMG_0588

….which I believe was the highlight of the day. There are many shops nearby but, it could be quite expensive because the temple is a tourist spot. If you dont mind spending an extra buck or two, the hop into any shop because the food here was simply DIVINE!
