Valentines Day Ideas <3

Its February!

Cupid’s knocking on everyone’s heart this month. Couples everywhere are busy getting gifts for their Valentines’.

Did you ever stop to wonder what Valentine’s Day is all about?

Saint Valentine’s Day, also known as Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is a holiday observed on February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many countries around the world, although it is not a holiday in most of them.”

This is what Wikipedia told me about the much celebrated 14th of February. 😛

So guys..buying a gift or doing something new each year could be challenging especially if you’ve done EVERYTHING already。 or..HAVE YOU?

To those who haven’t planned anything for Valentines, or if you’re looking forward to a simple Valentine’s Day celebration. I might have some ideas for you.10967978_1593744427506534_463019296_n

1. A Photoshoot (My personal favourite)

Have a photo shoot together! All you need is a camera and the both of you! Dress up in anything comfortable, take time to put some make-up and hair gel on,get silly, feel awesome and find a beautiful place or spot (parks, waterfalls, hilltops, or YOU COULD EVEN GO TO THE ZOO). You could always take turns taking pictures of each other or..what else is the timer for? At the end of the day, stick the memory card into your laptop and look at the pictures together. You could even print out a few and keep them on your desk with little love notes attached.

2. Have a Cooking competition

Do both of you love a good home-cooked meal? On usual days, you both probably eat out. So, make the most of Valentine’s Day. Start the day by going grocery shopping. You could even set a timer to make things more exciting. Example: Pick out whatever you can in two minutes and make a meal out of it! Take time to make awesome food out of the ingredients you grabbed in the limited time. You could even grade each other! Who knows, you might even come up with some new delicious recipes!

3.Have a picnic

You cooked! What next? Tired of eating on the dining table? Throw a rug/blanket on the floor, some pillows, candles and set out the food on the floor. You could feed each other and just spend time in each others arms.

4.Make a DIY Gift Jar

Write down the reasons why he has captured your heart and put them in a jar.It doesn’t have to be a very elaborate jar. You could even reuse a jam bottle. Tie a ribbon around the jar as a finish. You could even add his favourite chocolate inside the jar! This gift is beautiful because you took your time to write down everything that has made you happy. Read them together. It might make the ties between the two of you stronger.

To those celebrating, Happy Valentine’s Day! Do share with me your plans for this Valentine in the comments section below. Have fun guys!

To those with no Valentine’s this year..I found this special something on tumblr:

HAHA!! So don’t whine! Get out there and have a great time with your family and friends!
